Immigration financial increases and other changes – update

As we have already informed readers, the Immigration Health Surcharge is going to increase substantially on 6 February 2024. 

We can now inform you that from 11 March 2024 care workers and senior care workers will no longer be able to bring dependants to the UK.

And the minimum required earnings in many Skilled Worker categories will increase to £38,700 gross per year on 4 April 2024. 

And the requirement for financial earnings for sponsors of overseas partners will increase to £29,000 gross per year on 11 April 2024. 

As far as we know, those who already hold visas will be unaffected.
