The Conservative Government has today announced they will introduce special visas for Doctors & Nurses to come and work in the UK underNHS visa rules. The UK Government realises that NHS is already under staffed and after BREXIT the situation seems to get worse therefore they have introduced their plans to bring in NHS visas to process visa applications from Doctors and Nurses to come to the UK to work for the NHS, reducing the visa fees to half and promising to process the applications within 2 weeks of submission.
At the moment the Visa fees for Doctors and Nurses to apply for UK Work visa is £928 which will be reduced to £464 and the processing time is being promised to be reduced to two weeks.
Do not forget that the UK Government charges Immigration Health Surcharge for Immigrants to use Health care in the UK but for NHS workers they intend to charge them IHS in instalments by deducting the fee as a small amount every month from their salary.
